Under the slogan of Ubiquitous Seoul, the World’s Best e-Government, Dr. Junghee Song, CIO of Seoul, has focused on advancing Seoul’s international branding in e-government, innovative digital administration, IT service for citizen satisfaction, ubiquitous service and infrastructure, and safe e-government services.

Also, Dr. Song has put efforts to increase citizens’ online participation in municipal administration by diversifying online services from one-click e-public service, public service reservation to GIS portal and mobile portal.

Seoul’s international branding as well as its leadership in global e-government will be further enhanced with the World e-Governments Organization to be inaugurated in Seoul, Korea on September 6-8, 2010 on the initiative of Seoul and with agreement among over 50 cities and local governments worldwide.
