Leveraging Technical Expertise Locally

February 4, 2010

An Edmonton ecommerce company called Hybrid Forge is working to improve Edmonton Transit System's current electronic Lost and Found system through the Leveraging Technical Expertise Locally (LTEL) pilot project.

Hybrid Forge’s selection was announced on Feb. 4, 2010. Their solution was picked from a short list of six finalists.

“This is a real win-win. The City gets access to Edmonton expertise that’s among the best in the world, we support local businesses, and we’ll get access to new technologies, products and ideas,” said David Faber, the City's Branch Manager of Strategic Management. Read the City news release.

“This an excellent opportunity for us and we are excited about forging this relationship with City of Edmonton and TEC Edmonton” says Geoff Kliza, President of Hybrid Forge. Read about the Hybrid Forge solution.
